Heechul:
One of a fan gave Heechul a cat so when Kibum saw it.He named it HEEBUM.When hanhyuk heard it,he ask how come his name wasnt included?So they added his surname,it became HAN HEEBUM.In the end member of TRAX wanted his name inside too,so they added a J inside.It finally became HAN J HEEBUM.They said that its name sounds like a JAPANESE CAT:)
Heechul went on a tv show talking about his experience getting dumped from a girl he like during his debut.However the girl did not tell heechul that she has a bf.She finally told Heechul when he was already deeply in love with her.At that time Heechul said this to her "If you are by his side,I will not be lonely.But if you are in trouble remember that I will always be there for you."The girl however did not end with Heechul nor the bf instead she went with another guy that asked her out after Heechul. sad.
Kibum:
He always say that being a singer is God's will.This is because when Kibum was living in America,he went to church every week.And on one of thw week after service,he and his grp of friends went to eat spicy ricecake.Unfortunately on the way there he lost his way.And thats when he met one of the SM person that asked him to join.(AINT HE LUCKY?)





Kangin:
Kangin had a unforgettable experience once in school.One summer,he sat in front of the fan.He started opening his mouth and making the ARH sound...so he said he finds it interesting and funny.So he started playing.Suddenly,a fly flew in his mouth(HAHAHAHHA)He said it was so accurate that it was stuck in his throat.He had a hard time spitting it out(EWWW)He never dares to try this again.
Kyuhyun:
Because of the limited space they have in the hostel and he was the last to join Super Junior,he didnt have a bed,I think he sleeps on the floor(like those you sees in drama)So once they went to KTR,he told the fans and within that 2 hours,the fans sent in messages saying that they want to buy him a bed so he can sleep comfortably,this made the manager got a shock.And so they went to buy a bed the next day.Feeling proud of having a bed finally,he took pics of the bed and posted on the net:)
Ryeowook:
There was once when Ryeowook and Sungmin went to Kangin's radio show.Everyone was chatting happily expect for him.Sungmin felt it immediately and asked him WHY ARE U SO QUIET?HAVE U DONE SOMETHING WRONG?He replied sadly that he thought todays live was open to viewers so he style his hair dressed and makeup but unfortunately today they are not going to open to allow viewers to see.When everyone heard it,they laughed so hard until they almost cried.

Eeteuk:
Before debut he was very close to Xiahjunsu and eunhyuk.So one day after training,eeteuk being the oldest decided to treat the both of them to buns.However he only had money for 2,so he thought maybe they 3 of them can share 2 buns.So when the train was here,eunhyuk and junsu said hyung gdbye took the buns and board the train,leaving eeteuk staring back at them blankly.He thought that he could share but they left instead.

Donghae:
He said that he hates celebrating birthday.Because last year Super Junior went somewhere to perform.He was looking forward to 12 o clock to come when all his members would give him presents but they all were busy doing their own things,making him so sad,so everytime they talk about birthdays on air he always complain.



Eunhyuk:
Once when Kangin was sick,the next day he still needs to go on shows.He was so worried about Kangin,he wanted to tell Kangin that HYUNG IT IS HARD ON YOU FIGHTING.So decided to sit down and talk to him before saying that sentence but after talking for 30 mins,he was too shy to say,so he kept in his heart.



Sungmin:
He loves pink like mad.Whenever he buys something he will not see the design as long is PINK he will buy.Sungmin changed his phone cover to Pink.Once Sungmin decided to have a change of style and not wear pink,but when he open his cupboard he realized that most of his clothes were pink,he gave up in the end about changing his style.



Yesung:
Everyone thought he was the most quiet member of the group but it is totally different under cam.All the members calls him naggy yesung.There was once there was an interview when yesung talked for 2 hrs,in the end 90% was cut off.Yesung was angry but finds it funny too and he said IS IT SO LONG UNTIL THEY CUT MOST OF IT?





Shindong:
Before debut,he work a lot of different kinds of jobs.One winter he wanted a hand phone so badly.But his parents wouldn't buy for him cause it was expensive st that time.So he worked at a construction site,everytime he ended work his hands will shake a lot(carry too much heavy stuff)Finally,he bought his handphone:))



Hankyung:
He is always praised about his cooking skills.He was in the hostel cooking once and he only found onion eggs and rice so he used these to cook.All the members praised him and asked him what is the name of this dish due to his poor korean at that time he wanted to say EGG FRIED RICE but instead he said BEIJING FRIED RICE.So that is how the FAMOUS BEIJING FRIED RICE come about.




Siwon:
He grew up in a strict family and he is afraid of his father.During his high school holiday he went to the gas station to work without letting his parents know.On the 4th day of work,he said normally to every customer PLS DRAW YOUR WINDOW DOWN and in the car he was serving was his father.He quit his job the next day.

Here are some interesting facts about Donghae from the chinese magazine, EASY, that *-meLon` and carolynx had translated.

1. donghae resides on the 4th storey of a small apartment. everyday after school, he would press the bell of his neighbour's house (1st storey) and run away, until he got caught once.

2. he often forget his hat, cellphone or similar items. he would look high and low for his hat, when he alr wore it. once he was chatting with another member on the phone and said; i forgotten my phone, i'm gonna go up and take it.

3. he's a crybaby, soft-hearted and thinks alot.

4. the best place he likes to keep his savings in, is the water dispenser bottle.

5. if someone tells him he's short, he'll definitely go online and search for ways to grow taller and drinks only milk and soy milk.

6. he'll turn into a beast if he's on stage preforming U. when he had eyes contact with the members, they'll think that his stares is so not human

7. donghae used to play at the public bath house with his friends, using the bathhouse like a swimming pool, thus making all the ahjusshis there angry

8. donghae who is quite weak in health, often loses sleep at night. Sungmin who lives with him would fall asleep easily at the count of three, leaving donghae to roll and flip around in bed trying to fall asleep.

9. during the 3rd year in elementary school, the teacher wrongly accused donghae of taking away the attendance book & punished him in the teachers office.

10. If he has a girlfriend, he'll like to give her a tour around his hometown, Mokpo, and let her know the place he grew up in. das ist so genial °U°

11. Before he debutted, he was afraid of taking the aeroplane, so he never went to any of the 3 school trip to Jeju Island during high school.

12. Donghae, who is sensitive to his surroundings, will not be able to fall asleep for the whole night if he is sleeping elsewhere other than home. Its because he felt insecure when he does not see anything familiar to him in the surrounding.

13. donghae left a msg titled "ELF I LOVE YOU" in the fancafe and sungmin called him and told him he got the title wrong. he typed LOVE as LVOE and he was so embarrassed.

14. when kibum first came to korea, donghae's the 1st person to hug him and welcome him. awwwwwwwwww.

15. when he was small, he play games with his friend that needed them to be divided in groups. Whichever group that he is in, will always lose in the game. (T_T)

16. he once promised his father that under any circumstances, he will not drink alcohol.

17. No matter how much he eats, he will not gain fat. Whenever he feels like he had gain a bit of weight, he'll exercise. And the first place to slim down is his face.

18. Donghae is really afraid of Shindong's snoring, and his loud breathing while sleeping scares him too. Its almost impossible to sleep at night, for him.

19. He likes the feeling of being protected, being cared for. & because he'll feel lonely easily, he never eats alone. He needs to have someone to eat with him.

20. donghae dislike pink alot.. because opposite his bed is sungmin's wardrobe and it's full of pinkish stuffs, clothes, dolls, pillow, bags and shoes are all pink.

21. He's not really good at searching things online. He doesnt really even know how to use 'Naver' to search. Thus he doesn't like going online, not to mention shopping online too. (-.- kinda contradict with no.5 huh....)

22. Donghae really admires those taxi drivers and public transport drivers. Not only because his father used to be a taxi driver, but also because he himself will feel tired and aches all over after driving for half an hour and thus find those people impressive as they can drive all day long.

Why is Heechul often referred to as "Heenim"?
In the Korean language, -nim is a suffix added to someone's job title or name as a show of respect. For instance, teachers are called 'sunsaengnim,' parents are called 'boomonim,' those who have been in your field longer than you are called 'sunbaenim,' etc. It's somewhat like calling someone sir/madam or "honorable" in front of their title or name. Hee from Heechul with the -nim suffix, thus Heenim or honorable Hee.


Why is Heenim's nickname Cinderella?
I've heard many stories on how Heenim got the nickname Cinderella, but from his own words, there isn't really any specific reason he got the nickname. It wasn't because he had to be home by midnight and it wasn't because he's as beautiful as a princess

As the story goes, one day Heechul and Kibum went to a PC gameroom to play computer games. For some unspecified reason, he used the username 'Cinderella' when logging on and when Kibum asked him what username he should use, he told Kibum to use 'Snow White' and friends thought it was funny thus they became Cinderella and Snow White from then on.


What does his minihompy address 'yuri9doo' mean?
À¯¸±¸µÎ or 'yurigoodoo' is the Korean word for glass slipper to go along with the Cinderella theme and since the number nine is 'goo' in Korean, Heenim's minihompy address became 'yuri9doo.'


How come Heenim always says he's older than he actually is?
That is due to the difference between Korean age and Western age. In Korea, the moment you are born, you are considered to be 1 years old. Thus, having been born in 1983, in Korea he is 26 years old this year (2008). Also, although Koreans celebrate birthdays, traditionally you don't actually turn a year older on your birthday, rather everyone turns a year older on New Year's Day. So before July 10, he is already 26 in Korean age while in Western age he is 24 until his birthday.


Why does Heenim say that he is the same age as Hankyung and Jay when he was born in 1983 and they were born in 1984?
This is due to the Korean school year which starts in early spring. Both Hankyung and Jay were born in early 1984 and would have been enrolled in the same school year as those born in 1983, thus would have been classmates. Those born in early parts of the year are considered the same age as a person who was born the previous year...

In SuJu, these are the groupings by the same age:

1) Eeteuk (83), Heechul (83), Hankyung (early 84)
2) Yesung (84), Kangin (early 85)
3) Shindong (85), Sungmin (early 86)
4) Eunhyuk (86), Donghae (86), Shiwon (early 87)
5) Ryeowook (87), Kibum (87), Kyuhyun (early 8

As you can see, it really isn't a matter of days or months age difference, but more their school grades. Eunhyuk is only 3 months younger than Sungmin, but he calls Sungmin "hyung" while Donghae is 6 months younger than Eunhyuk, but they are considered "friends." In Korea, "friends" does not necessarily only denote being close to someone, but rather being the same age as them. Thus, even though Heechul and Kibum are very close to each other, they aren't considered "friends," but rather a close hyung/dongsaeng.


Why is Heenim listed as an actor in Naver rather than a singer?
That's due to the fact that Heenim debuted as an actor on the teen drama "Banolim 2" on March 6, 2005, a full 8 months before debuting as a singer with Super Junior on November 6, 2005.


Does Heenim live with all members of Super Junior?
When Super Junior was first formed, for a little while all members of Super Junior lived together, but due to the sheer number of members, Super Junior soon moved into two separate dorms in separate apartment buildings that were within 5 minutes of each other (they weren't able to get 2 apartments in the same building). At that time, Heechul lived in one of the dorms along with Kibum and Hankyung from Super Junior and Jay (Typhoon) from Trax after he returned from Japan, while the rest of the Super Junior members (excluding Shiwon who moved back to his parents' house) lived in another. In Heechul's dorm, Heechul got his own room, Hankyung shared with a manager, and Kibum shared his room with Jay from Trax. The other dorm's roommates changed often, but at one time or another most have probably been roommates of one another, especially since some rooms had 4 to a room.

Then in September 2007, the leases on the Super Junior dorms ended and weren't renewed due to all the noisy fans who were disturbing their neighbors so they moved to 2 new dorms across the river, but this time more spacious dorms in the same building. 5 members of Super Junior live in one dorm on the 11th floor while 5 members live in another dorm on the 12th floor. Kangin, Shiwon, and Kibum either live with family/relatives or by themselves nearby apparently.

5 members on the 12th floor: Heechul and Eeteuk share a room, Donghae and Shindong share a room, and Hankyung has his own room.

5 members on the 11th floor: Sungmin and Kyuhyun share a room, Yesung, and Ryeowook, and Eunhyuk has his own room. (ich denke trotzdem es ändert sich ab und bei denen mit den zimmern)

What are Heenim's favorite color(s)?
Back in July 2004 when he filled in his 100 Questions 100 Answers, he listed his favorite colors as pink, red, and black. But when he revised his 100 Questions 100 Answers in August 2007, he wrote that his favorite color was "blood (úì) color"


Who or what exactly is Sellectice and his friend Karrion?
'Sellectice and his friend Karrion' were cartoon characters that Heenim created when he was still in high school. His best friend from high school, Daehyun, was 'Sellectice' and Heechul was 'his friend Karrion.' Sellectice was a super hero, but the thing that set Sellectice apart from all other super heroes was that he didn't protect the world, but rather he only protected himself. Sellectice believed that everyone should take care of themselves instead of asking someone else for help LOL

Heechul said the characters were quite popular among his classmates and he'd often get requests to draw those characters for them during breaks. He has even drawn the characters on camera in an episode of "Banolim 2." If you ever see Heenim's autograph, the round faced character with a flower on his head is 'Sellectice.'


How tall is Heenim?
Heechul stated for years that he was 178cm (a little over 5' 10") since that was what he was measured as during the school physical. Even when the Super Junior profile stated that he was 179cm, he stated on his minihompy that it was incorrect and that he was only 178cm. Then in July 2006, when he was on a TV show called DongAn Club and they were asking about heights, Heechul said that he recently had to go to the hospital (he slipped in the rain and sprained his ankle in early July 2006) and at that time, they measured his height and he turned out to be 177cm so he asked SM to change his profile from 179cm to 177cm. The doctor who was on the show said that depending on what time of day one is measured that everyone's height varies from 1-2cm so that it wasn't a big deal. But he stated in various places that he was only 177cm and he wanted his profile changed to reflect the truth and so various search engines and photo sites changed his profile to 177cm. Then as we all know, Heechul got into his car accident in August 2006. And I guess when he was about to get released from the hospital, they were doing a physical and measured his height again and what do you know... it's 178cm LOL So all these photo sites and search engines list him as 177cm even though he is actually 178cm.

hannieeee ^^1. Hankyung had always told his fans that he doesn’t like eating snack/ junk food. Once, a few fans watched SJ practice from outside a window, Eeteuk or EunHyuk was lying on the sofa playing a game, and next to him was someone watching cartoons. At first, everyone thought that it was DongHae, after a long time, he turned around. It turned out to be Hankyung. Not only was he eating a lollypop, he was eating it very happily. From then on, no one believed that hannie did not like to eat snack foods.

waaa... i wonder what he looks like when eating lollipop.. hahaha.. CUTE!!

2. Every time he hears something bad about him, or he makes a mistake, Hankyung would say: “I don’t know, I’m not very good at Korean”

hehehe.. very clever!!!

3. Hankyung once said that his CY belonged to everyone, and even gave his passwords to his fans. After causing a riot, a fan asked him “ Hankyung oppa, does the CY still belong to everyone?” With a serious face, Hankyung said “ No, it belongs to Hankyung.”

hahaha... i wonder what kind of riot!! LOL!!!

4. SJ’s new song went onto the music charts, Hankyung was very excited and asked the manager “ Hyung, what was the title of our song?”

LOL!!! he does not even know the title of their song!!! hahaha...

5. In July, he had an interview at the KBS building with Cool. Although Cool was late, Hankyung was not there. They called him and he replied that he was still sleeping and asked if it was Wednesday (which it wasn’t). Because HanKyung was not wearing makeup, SM did not allow pictures to be taken. Cool asked why he had not worn makeup, and he replied “ I was just sleeping, who knew that you would come…”

he really is weird and clever!!! hahaha..

6. Once when HeeChul and Hankyung were shopping together, HeeChul picked up a red jumper and gave it to Hankyung. Hankyung immediately said “??? ??! ??!” (I don’t want it! Don’t like red!)
HeeChul asks “??” (Why?)
